Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Mark My Miles ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Description of Service
Mark My Miles is a mileage tracking application that automatically detects and logs driving trips, allows categorization of trips for tax purposes, provides receipt scanning, and generates tax-ready reports. All data processing occurs locally on your device.
Subscriptions and Purchases
Mark My Miles offers the following purchase options for premium features:
- Monthly subscription: $0.99 per month
- Annual subscription: $4.99 per year
- Lifetime purchase: $9.99 one-time payment
All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.
Prices are subject to change. We will notify users of any price changes in advance.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose of tracking mileage and expenses. You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's systems or networks
- Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the App
Accuracy of Information
While Mark My Miles strives to provide accurate mileage tracking and trip detection, we do not guarantee the absolute accuracy of GPS-based measurements. Factors such as GPS signal quality, device hardware, and environmental conditions can affect accuracy.
You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of your mileage logs before using them for tax filings or reimbursement claims. Mark My Miles is a tracking tool and does not provide tax advice.
Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, features, and content, is the intellectual property of Mark My Miles and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Your purchase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on your personal devices.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mark My Miles shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
Since all data is stored locally on your device, we are not responsible for data loss resulting from device failure, app deletion, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App at any time without notice. Upon termination, all data stored locally on your device remains yours.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
